Jamie is a source of wonder, joy, and inspiration in my life. At a relatively young age, she possesses the wisdom and heart to be a light onto the world. All those who come in contact with her, whether socially, professionally, or intellectually, are impressed with her inner and outer beauty, insightfulness, dedication, and generosity.
One way that Jamie has been inspirational to me, is in the unwavering support that she offers at every turn of my journey in life. She's been encouraging in my yoga practice, my volunteer work, my educational endeavors, my house projects, and our family events and celebrations. Most recently, over the Thanksgiving weekend, Jamie impressed me with her spot-on helpfulness. When some wine glasses broke, and Barry took the dog out and I went to change clothes, Jamie cleaned up all the glass shards and turned a dangerous and messy space into a safe and clean environment. This is a metaphor for the effect that she's had on me and her family and friends. Thank you, my lovely daughter. I love you. |

What a treat to read about Jamie (and to get to know her). When you're a parent, you strive to raise children who are healthy, happy, fulfilled, and comfortable in their own lives. And when you have that, you're grateful and more than satisfied. Beyond that, it's a great added gift when a son or daughter is not only mature and accomplished in their own personal and professional life, but also can share *your* joys and be supportive of your interests and continued growth and development. |
