The Inspiration Project comprises an open-ended group of people, working together toward its goals. Here are a couple of them that we want you to meet.
Barry Tavlin Inspiration Project Founder
Barry is the Chief Inspiration Officer of the project and has shepherded the project from its original inception to the present. His vision has guided the project’s direction and implementation.
Barry is uniquely qualified to guide and develop the web site. He has worked in the high tech field for over 25 years. In 1996 he was an Internet pioneer, founding LA Bridge, an Internet Service Provider company serving the community.
Later, when the Digital Divide hit the headlines, he joined in to work for community-based access to computer technology. In 2002-2003, he extended his technology work to the area of e-Government – the use of technology to enhance civic involvement and government accessibility. During that time he founded Technicity Times, an e-zine focused on community-based uses of computer technology.
More recently, Barry has been trained as a Life Coach, and has worked with other Life Coaches to develop and refine the Inspiration Circles.
A long-time activist for peace and justice, Barry is putting his energy into this project with the hope that it will strengthen all of us to do what we can to transform the world for the better.
